Ray began his rock career as a teenager in British Guyana where he became that country's first rock superstar. He then moved to Toronto, Canada seeking a larger venue. There he gained notariety with a series of groups he formed, winning a national "Home Grown" songwiters contest, touring as a Yamaha sponsored event and ultimately setting up his own club on Delaney Street. In the early 1980's Ray came to Los Angeles where he ultimately started his own production company, producing his own work and that of serveral groups under his Gold Records lable, and performed at such venues as the El Ray and The Roxy. In his latest work Ray has chosen to target the neglected Adult Contemporary audience with new music they can get into as much as they do the old classic rock. His "It's All About Luv" album is yet another example of Ray's uncanny ablities to carry the emotions on a musical journey. This spring Ray is back in Toronto and ready to perform.
